Currently, Azadi Network is a non-profit, grassroots organisation run by a group of volunteers. Thus, all donations go directly towards advancing women’s rights in Iran, without any mediation or cuts taken by us. For example, your donations help us to:

Organise educational events on the situation in Iran (e.g. on the 27th of October 2023, we delivered a talk at the University of Oxford clarifying the situation in Iran).

Defend the interests of minority groups within Iran, and preserve their cultural heritage (e.g. on the 8th of December 2023, we assembled an exhibition of Baluch women’s embroidery alongside Rostam Miralashari’s concert, and sent all of the money raised directly back to them).

Raise and maintain awareness of the situation in Iran, especially in western media and amongst parliamentarians (e.g. on the 7th of April 2023, we provided a policy briefing to MPs on the level of threats to Iranian journalists and human rights activists within the UK). This also means that we are able to influence policy making within the UK Parliament, so that it may advance the interests of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement at the highest level of politics.

Host workshops, where important individuals may discuss action that needs to be taken and create a vision for the future of Iran (e.g. in the summer of 2023, we ran a series of workshops for more than 80 leaders amongst the Iranian community in the diaspora with Marshall Ganz.)

Therefore, irrespective of however much they may be, we encourage any donations. By supporting our work, you are essentially helping to create a world in which freedom exists for Iranians, and corrupt dictatorships are no more.
